Upload!

I like the looks of the Run: Reflect LS and Pullover, the Get Up and Glow Jacket (though dislike the asymmetrical zipper) but need to check these all out in a store. I ended up ordering the Spring Has Sprung Bangbuster. It's weird that the Pump It Up Jacket still hasn't been uploaded yet. Anyone get anything?

Still no pump it up jacket????

I bought the new run reflect crops in the SHS pattern. Not sure I'm going to like what that pattern does to my thighs and may want plain black instead, but I'm going to give it a try. I also ordered a ss polar haze swiftly from last week to go with the crops. I went back and ordered the slub flare WUs too. They say reversible so I'm hoping they are not see-thru. I have not bought 3 full-price items at one time from lulu in almost a year. I'm still leery of the quality (and possible fugliness with the crops) but here goes nothing!

Anon 5:25 - Can't wait to hear how the Run:Reflect Crop fits. I think they LOOK perfect for half marathon training, but am looking forward to hearing fit reviews from everyone here :)

It's all ugly, but that's my opinion. PASS!

OMG those striped Wunder Unders are TOO MUCH. Oh the hilarity! I was hoping for a polar haze CRB, but maybe the Flare/Inkwell one will suffice. All these new RFYL crops are going to get me in trouble....those suckahs are expensive.
The pink slub wunder unders are interesting.

Nothing for months now. Beginning to lose hope for those Ebb&Flows and classic stripe Under Crops.

Anonymous said...

ANON! can you tell me if the run reflect crops are low rise? the product description doesn't say, and I'm hoping for at least mid-rise. the picture makes it look like it's really low :(
I am ready to pull the trigger on these crops if they aren't hiphugger rise!!!

What is with all the black and orange??? Is it Halloween already??? Boo!

Anonymous said...

Either the model has no waistline or these jacket/tops look very boxy. I think it's the former.

Anonymous said...

Is the Pump It Up jacket ever going to be uploaded???

Bought the Run: Reflect LS and pullover, but fully expect to return one or both once I try them on. Also ordered my first vinyasa scarf in the mint moment color. I hope its as great as everyone says! Finally, I also ordered the inspire crops with the simple white accents. Inspires and speed shorts are all I wear to the gym and the black/white combo is a nice neutral.

It's navy and orange but still ugly.

Jax+Puzzle said...

I love all the orange, but I have tons of it. I would've ordered the denim WU but they are sold out of my size already. I already have Dazzling speeds, or I would order Flare - cute!

long brown hair model looks sort of preggo in all of the photos you posted - not a bad thing, but strange. the pullover looks better on the LL website than it did in earlier photos, and the reflect long sleeve looks longer than the runder under top - sort of wish i had waited and gotten one fo these instead of runder under top!
i really think that jacket is unflattering, but hopefully it's highly functional. i like the asymmetrical zipper!

Anonymous said...

I like the all-black get up and glow tights except for the side pocket panels. Those are so unflattering on my thighs and totally useless to me. Does anyone know if they really add much bulk if you never put anything in them? I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to the store this week to try them on. Thanks :)

Anonymous said...

ok, i am the anon who said the model looks preggo. clarification: i didn't look at the upload carefully - i was talking about the Get Up and Glow jacket being unflattering. the Run: Reflect is kind of cool in a space-motorcycle kind of way... wonder how that short front will work on a run?
meanwhile, i am still supposed to be on a new year's resolution hiatus...

Anonymous said...

just the light flare speed shorts for me... and last week all i bought was the SHS speeds (love my speeds). Everything else is so ugly, so so so ugly. I actually like the light flare slub WU but i have several bright colored WU and don't need any more. I can justify a million pairs of shorts because that's what i wear for every workout.

I've said it on this blog before (so i apologize for mentioning it again) but REALLY, more free to be bras and run back on track tanks?? ugh.

Anonymous said...

I'll be happy to report back on fit of those run reflect crops BUT I live in VA and since lulu delivers via stagecoach it will be a week before I ever lay eyes on them. :)

Jen said...

I'd be interested in hearing a fit report on the run: reflect crops. How thick is the luxtreme? Thin like the run a marathon crops, or thicker like the chase me crops?

Anonymous said...

I really don't like the side zipper either. It's supposed to prevent zipper stacking but I think it looks worse than zipper stacking

Anonymous said...

Lulu needs to FIRE it's current design team!!! UGH.... :( What's next? Striped, crotchless, WU's for $130? HOPELESS!

I got the reflect PU in mint moment and spring has sprung bang buster. Not sure if ill keep the reflect PU though. Does anybody know when WMTM is uploaded anymore? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

What, no one's going for the striped wuc in flare/inkwell? It pairs perfectly with the matching ftb bra. You can also add on the doo rag and reeeallly get some looks in the gym.

macfrannie said...

I got the light flare speed shorts to hopefully take the place of the creamsicle ones I returned because of the black panty. I got an 8 and a 10 because it seems like they have been running smaller than usual. Other than that, nothing.

Anonymous said...

Worst upload ever!

Momof5 said...

If the pullovers make the models look pregnant I can only imagine how horrible I will look -- the curved hem is just not very flattering IMO

Anonymous said...

It is pretty bad when the clothes don't even look good on the model!!!! Boooooo lulu

The new Run Ice Queen tights in inkwell with flare piping and the controversial Daily Jacket in inkwell. Since the tights were uploaded today, there are obviously no reviews yet, so I'm hoping for the best. The same with the jacket: read almost half of the reviews and in the end, was as confused with sizing as I was before reading. For half is a TTS, for the other half a size down piece. This is an int'l order, which in my case means final sale, but didn't want to pass up on neither item.

I ordered the Spring has Sprung bangbuster. It will be my first bangbuster purchase, so I'm excited to see if I will like wearing it or not (I mostly would wear it for running). It would go with a lot of colors, although I haven't bought any of the recent colors...

I noticed the 105F singlet was uploaded on the Aussie website in two new colors! I can't wait until these are uploaded on the US site! I made a resolution to not buy as much stuff this year, especially since the prices have gotten so high, but I would make an exception for more of the 105F singlets. I want both of the new colors...

I also liked some of the new crops, but I want to see what other people think first. I like the Run: Reflect crops in the spring pattern, but I think they would be extremely long on me (5'2''). I like crops that are 16''-19'' long. Have any other shorties tried this on? What do you think? I'm afraid they would look like I'm wearing short pants.

Does anyone know if the Power Up Tank would be supportive enough for running? I'm a 34B and usually would get a size 6 in a top with a built-in bra. Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I ordered the mint moment reflect pullover and the black reflect crops. I need a new longer pair of crops and am hoping these will work out.

If anyone else was waiting for the Laceoflage CRB, they're not uploading it. I asked on the LLL Facebook site and they said we won't be seeing it. Bummer!

I tried on a bunch of stuff yesterday:

The pullover: I loved it. I generally don't like running in long sleeves but I could see myself actually using this to run. I thought it was flattering on my figure.

The crops: I'm 5'3" and they did not fit me as a low rise. They fit similar to the Run In the Sun crops from last year. I'd say the material was a little bit thicker than those.

I have the jacket. Again - Hate long sleeves. But I need a running jacket for the spring in case of rain. Last year, the jacket I purchased ends up being too much material and felt bulky. I had tried to size down from a 6 to a 4 but the sleeves were way too tight. I'm happy to say that the Get Up and Glow Jacket resolved this for me. The 4 fits perfect on me, and I didn't lose weight to account for the arms fitting better. I wore it to run yesterday and absolutely loved it! I'm probably in the minority, but as a runner I recommend this jacket.

I bought the run:reflect jacket in store yesterday. The running stuff has really sucked this year - run tights that are so thin they're useless in cold weather, ugly overly-trendy colours, fugly unflattering designs, and overall poor quality. I got a gift card months ago and haven't found anything that was useful enough or good enough quality to actually buy since then! This jacket is the only glimmer of hope that things might improve.

The material feels sort of neoprene-like (like the sugoi firewall jacket material) and it seems really well made. I'm 5'6", and it is just the right length (not so long that the material gets in the way, not so short that it lets you get cold). I tried on the fully reflective one at the Running Room that costs $250, and for only $50 more, this one is more breathable and doesn't make that horrible swishing sound while you run. The RR one also has cheaper material under the arms which pills really quickly.

I actually like the offset zippers - they're intended to prevent zipper stacking if you're wearing a half-zip underneath.

I do all my running at 5am, so I run in the dark 8 months of the year. I have a headlamp and blinky lights already, but I know from driving how hard it is to see runners, even lit up. Every little bit helps.

As for all the other new stuff they were putting out? Fug city. The flowery pacesetter was cute, but not available in tall (I like the running skirts longer). All of the other jackets (esp. the flowery one and the orange/navy one) were HORRIBLE.

Anonymous said...

The daily jacket in the inkwell felt a little rough. The color is really nice, but the feel of the material bothered me, and I am not that sensitive to textures.

I got the light flare wunder unders and orange wu crop! Its about time i add some fun spring colors to my collection. Excited!

Anonymous said...

I'll be glad when they get past this lame striped, clown phase they've been going through. Seems they are trying to cater to the under 25 crowd. I haven't spent a dime in 3 weeks!

Anonymous said...

I'm sorry to report that I bought 3 tanks, 4 crops, 1 long pants, and 1 running shorts from Zobha the past 3 weeks and nothing from Lululemon. It's getting so bad and I feel so sad for my favorite brand. Lululemon tanks, crops and jackets are still my most favorite items in my closet. Lulu should focus on producing fewer items but higher quality and better design. I do like the flare WU but I tried this silver WUs at the store and neither size 4 nor 6 work. I'm always size 4 in Lulu and the 4 compress so much on my hamstrings that it cuts my blood circulation, 6 is just a little better, still tight but very loose in the waist.

Anonymous said...

As I scrolled through the What's New section on the lululemon website this morning, this was my reaction:

Wah. I hate all of this stuff. The colors are either too crazy bright or too washed-out and drab. The patterns are absurd. And when you combine terrible colors with ridiculous patterns, you get...a big old mess.

Anonymous said...

FB tells us that there will be no Pump It UP jacket online :(

Anonymous said...

hahahaha

Anonymous said...

I love the inkwell color (been wanting a navy crop to come out), but hesitant to pull the trigger bc of the negative silver reviews. Why can't they just make these in the normal luon??

Anonymous said...

I just got a message from Lululemon that we won't be seeing the Pump It Up jacket online. I have been waiting and waiting for it so now I will have to do without or go out of my way to a store. Not happy!

Anonymous said...

Has anyone tried the Run: Top Speed Bra? Just wondering if it is flattering and supportive...thanks!

jen said...

Does anyone know if the pacesetter in SHS is the stretchy 4 way or the 2 way? I have 1 2 way and I really don't like it. Those of us with thighs need a little more give. :)

Anonymous said...

Maybe this has already been talked about, but has anyone heard of pvbody? They are comparing themselves to lulu!

Anonymous said...

I think people need to keep in mind that not all of us hate everything that is being put out. Yes some people are boycotting all things lulu but there are a few things that I really like! The Right Round pants may be fugly for a lot of people but I, for one, really love them. I also got the mint Power Up tank and the navy Free to Be bra. I just disagree with the people who say they are through with lulu and "this is the last straw" and they stalk the uploads, blogs and then buy.

LuluAddict said...

Pvbody is one of those "box" companies that buys workout wear on sale and then puts together a top and bottom based on your preferences/size. All the lulu I've seen them use are sale rack items. It's the same for the Nux and Beyond Yoga stuff they use, too. Those companies had huge online sales labor Day weekend. I saw stuff for $10-15 on those sites. So if you guys want to pay $49.99 a month for stuff you could pick up on markdown go right ahead but you'd probably do better shopping for yourself.

Anonymous said...

Yes, still crazy ugly haha

Anonymous said...

Doesn't anyone see what's happening?! Beetlejuice has taken over Lululemon!

DesertGirl said...

I bought the light flare speed shorts. I'm hoping I like the color. I tend toward pink and primary colors but I was just happy to see solid shorts with no stripes or other oddness. I also bought them, hoping others will do the same, to sell them out fast and let lulu know we REALLY prefer solids or basic accents and not all of whatever else they've been coming up with. I've been trying to buy a new pair of shorts from them for 2 months and these are the first I could see myself wearing.

I love the navy inkwell color but really want to try on in the store. Would love to try on the new IQ tights, the run reflect crop, and the pullover in flare. Mint does nothing for me or my skin tone but I dig oranges. Just not so much orange and navy together. I don't mind off center zippers and understand their functionality but I am waiting patiently for the draft dodger to hit WMTM and am hoping this new release of jackets will do it for this week! Otherwise nothing very interesting. A very "meh" upload in my opinion.

Anonymous said...

Anon 11:43 - totally agree. Some of the designs are not for everybody and that's ok. There will always be someone who will gravitate to a style that another person may completely avert to. I think some of the uploads were a complete disaster, others not so bad, and a few that I actually liked. It's interesting to see how some products still continue to sell, especially once it goes on sale, despite of negative and critical reviews.

Anonymous said...

At least there won't be camel toe!

Anonymous said...

Well, a lot of this is hideous (the flare striped WU? hahahaha) but I for one am glad they put the hideous flare/inkwell band on the inkwell RFYL - hopefully that means they'll go to WMTM, so I can get the navy crops I want for less than $88. No one ever sees my waistbands anyway. Although if they did, I'd be kind of embarrassed.

purrfiktangil said...

Not a thing for me this AM. I wanted to love the Run Reflect PO, but it just doesn't look flattering on the models in the midsection area...it does kinda make them look preggo as a couple of other commenters mentioned. And while there is nothing wrong with that, I don't want to look preggo in my running wear when I am not. Of course maybe it is just those pics...I haven't seen enough "live" pics to know for sure. Oh well.

In happier news, I did get my Spring Has Sprung Speed Shorts today and I am in love. I think they are my new favorite shorts. So yay!

Anonymous said...

True must get on that!

Anonymous said...

to Unknown at 12:36: Don't know where you live but the draft dodgers were marked down to $149.00 at the Georgetown (DC) store this past weekend! I was so tempted...really nice jacket.

Anonymous said...

got a nordstrom catalog today that was all sportswear. Cute stuff by nike, UA, Zella and they debuted a new brand at a low price point. Many lulu look a likes..bags, sunglasses, watches..

Anonymous said...

Me too!!! Help us please:) my store does not have them yet

Anonymous said...

Ok, I think the model is PREGNANT! No, really! Look how the shirt pulls at her belly om the first picture. Her face looks fuller and her boobs are bigger. She is definitely pregnant.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know if the Ice Queen 7/8 tights can be hemmed? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I would have considered the spring has sprung speed shorts but they no longer have COOLMAX in the lining. And the lining is super scratchy ! :( As for the Pace setter skirt... it's made with 2-way material just like the speed shorts (someone asked this question above).

Eric said...

I like the flare/inkwell jacket, I think if it was a mens piece.. it could work

might as well call it Lulu Vuitton with these extreme prices

Anonymous said...

I agree. I laughed out loud when I saw the striped wunder Unders. If they're not providing me with enticing clothing at least they're providing me with a laugh.

Anonymous said...

Hahahahaha @1:30 best. Comment. Ever.

Anonymous said...

Just the bangbuster for me...Lulu is helping me keep my resolution of buying less stuff this year. That orange/navy combo is hideous!

Anonymous said...

I think these pregnant comments are so rude, you are assuming shes pregnant when she may or may not be? What if she reads these comments? what if she has an eating disorder or something like that, think about the effect these comments might have on her or someone else, stop with the rude comments and stop assuming. Im so sick of reading on this sight of people not liking lulu anymore??? Well what are you still doing on the sight looking at all the "ugly" lulu stuff why dont you find somewhere else to shop? Just sayin.

Anonymous said...

Bahahahaha!! Best comment ever. Well done, Eric!!

Anonymous said...

I got the new Nordstrom sportwear catalog today too -- SO CUTE! my first thought was that they were sniffing out disgruntled lulu shoppers and moving in for the kill. :)

Anonymous said...

@anon 6:40- I remember hearing that they removed the coolmax lining on the speeds, and I did send back on pair of groovy run shorts (the Alberta lake gingham check) because the liner was SO scratchy. BUT (luckily) I have had no problem with any of the latest speed short liners (I have the burning yellow/inkwell, love red/coal, black/cream striped, and the SHS pattern), they feel the same as all my other old pairs. But those groovy's I got were bad uncomfortable business yuck!

Anonymous said...

People will like what they like and will buy what thye buy. If people like the ugly stuff and buy it: go for it. It's your money, body, and image, not mine.

When I say LLL stuff is ugly and unappealing, I am NOT buying it. NOT even if it goes to wmtm. I'll be content to live with the LLL gear that I have and not buy another thing, if they continue down this path.

They usually produce some superior items that I love (jackets, speed shorts, crops, tights, CRBs), but not lately. I will still look at LLL but not as much. Would love to see an Alberta Lake solid CRB or a polar haze solid CRB. Ebb & Flow ii? I think that was a mirage. The Run Reflective Jacket is a nice idea and probably well made, but I have plenty of jackets and reflectivity, so it will not be purchased (not even when it goes to wmtm, as it surely will.) I'm interested in the Ice Queen 7/8 tight in all black but sorry LLL, you are SO late to the game for cold weather gear (never mind this year, how many yearS now). I already updated my winter tights by buying elsewhere. Hence, even if I'm to consider the IQ 7/8 (after a try on) I will absolutely wait for a markdown. I won't even care to check for md because I don't need them.

Anonymous said...

You are totally right! But I don't think she is (congrats to her if she is). I think it's the looooong scalloped hems - and they do match my maternity top cuts.

Anonymous said...

Winter just started We still have a few months of cold weather, at least in the north east of the US.
So I think that a lot of stores are still selling winter gear and it is being purchased. By the way the ice queen pants are more for mildly cold weather, not for true below freezing type stuff, I think that they are super cute.
The Nike run store has a lot of similar stuff to Lulu and the prices are pretty much the same. The run tights I saw there were similar material to luxtreme and the prices were comparable to lulu.
I like some of the stuff lulu has come out with, but some of it is really bad, but I think that crazy stuff has a market.
They are opening a new store in the meat packing district in NYC.
