First Base Tank, Pace Tank, Bra, and Crop, and More

Frond Ocean Stripe First Base Tank and Pace Crop. The Australian site also has a Cool Racerback in the Frond Ocean Stripe.

I really like the look of the Frond Cardio Kick Tank from the back.

Too bad it has the black section down the front. Shown with Pace crops.

Cardio Kick in Inkwell / Mellow/ Burning Yellow

Pop Orange Pace Tight, Frond Pace Tank (I am liking it on this woman), Dune Rise and Shine Jacket.

Pace Bra and Wunder Under crops.

I'm curious about the sheerness of the Frond Wunder Unders. On the website it says the bright colors might be more sheer, but I'd like to know what people are experiencing with them!

these new crops with the color piping are so unflattering. They make hips looks wider.

I find it kind of sad, that lulu fans have come to terms with the fact that lululemon bottoms are sheer, now they are just concerned with how sheer they are. Instead of rejecting sub pair quality, there is an implicit general acceptance that wearing lululemon is above their own standards for good quality.
No wonder this company has no reason to improve quality, when a simple online disclaimer suffices to sell their items at full price.

LLA, I just emailed you some yellow swiftly comparison photos.

In my opinion, mellow yellow is very different from Clarity. Clarity clearly has green undertones, while Mellow has orange undertones. Mellow Yellow reminds me closest to Chirp.

WHOA, Limitless Blue CRBs in stock in all sizes except for 6 on the website. Guess they found a bunch somewhere in the wherehouse?
I also noticed that the yellow ocean stripe CRB is featured on the model posing in the Frond wunder under crop photo on the website. I can't tell if there are silverish reflective stripes that are reflecting the green of the WUC, or if the constrasting stripes are actually green. The AUS banner sneak seems to show a yellow with a reflective-type silver stripe.

The toasty techs in Laceoflage re-appeared today on the "what's new" page! I was wondering if those were ever going to make a re-appearance online.

Has anyone tried on the Pace Tights in pop orange? I'm assuming they are sheer, but I'd love to hear a confirmation either way!

All I can say, is that I'm impressed that so many people can wear light-colored Luxtreme bottoms. I am a lean, muscular size 4 @ Lulu, and I still have cellulite on my butt. (Thank you, genetics.) There is no way I could wear these without scarring people for life....how is it that so many of you don't have this problem? You get excited about light colored WU, light colored run tights in Luxtreme...I am jealous. :(

Anonymous said...

Amen. I refuse to buy any jackets until my beloved Define & In Stride return. Their new styles are just inferior in quality, cut, style, etc. The powers at be must think we're pretty dumb.

RunItMyWay said...

That new first base tank would actually be REALLY cute in the green/ stripe if it wasn't so short!! Why on earth would they cut the tank so short, then even higher on the sides? It's really unflattering, I think it makes the girls look heavier than they are cutting it so high.

Melissa said...

Yuck on the crops with piping. They look very cheap. Thank "Active by Old Navy."

Anonymous said...

I actually don't like the back of the pace bra at all, I think it's ugly and not flattering, and I'm not a fan of the frond WUC because in addition to sheerness (which everyone should refuse to pay full price for) they really do remind me of frog legs as someone has mentioned.

Super glad I didn't pull the trigger on the burning yellow crb as I think I will really like the mellow lemon based on other reports!

Anonymous said...

Is it ME....or do some of the clothes on SOME of the models look TOO TIGHT?!? I dunno...but skin tight, doesn't look flattering to me! :(

Anonymous said...

Not sure if anyone mention this but it looks like a new crb color under the frond wu.

To anon4:55, I agree whole heartedly. It makes me sad to hear all the justifications for sub-par quality.

Anonymous said...

Totally agree @4:45.

I'm sorry, but for those of us who were in the gym in the 80s, some of these color combinations are giving me PTSD.

Pinkish coral and green? Really?

And I feel like the Pace crops call attention to areas that might better be ignored, even on this fit model.

Ching-a-ling said...

Tried on the bleached coral pace tights last night. Must wear nude undies. That is all.

Anonymous said...

This is a bit off topic, but I just checked out the Australia website, and it looks like the Inkwell/Mellow Lemon Inspires have the older, wider waistband. I hope my eyes aren't deceiving me, because I really want a pair, and the narrow waistband doesn't work for me at all.

Anonymous said...

It's weird how much ppl love these neon colors because where I live (San Francisco / Bay Area) I only see the older, classic LULU pieces around...the most color I've ever seen around here is maybe menthol or alberta lake. I guess different states have different tolerances for colors?

Anonymous said...

I am very anxious to hear about the new pace tank. Is it supportive? Is it as short as it seems?

Anonymous said...

Anon 6:59, I have asked the same question on here and got no response! I suppose we are the only ones with cellulite? :) I even tried the bleached coral studio crops and couldn't keep them due to dimples showing through the fabric. I am a size 4 like you and just cursed with cellulite since a very young age...Only colors I can feel comfortable in are black and now inkwell. Just wanted you to know you aren't alone!!

Anonymous said...

@12:24PM-they are the old waistband. I've been waiting for them to bring back the old waistband. I have confirmed reports that they are-not the inkwell/burning yellow ones, but the inkwell/mellow lemon, the black/bleach coral & black & frond inspires-Yay!

Anonymous said...

Also OT: I just got my Hot Move shorts in the mail - they are awesome, and I am someone who does NOT wear short shortsl. I ordered size 6 and size 8. I'm generally a size 8 in bottoms but could wear a 6 in some. Can anyone report on their experience with these shorts under hot yoga conditions? Not sure if they will stretch out when really sweaty. Do people tend to size down in these? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I agree! Even on the LLL website it says something about if the luon is shiny, it's too tight..most times in the pics, that fact is glaringly obvious!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 1:36 pm - I tried on the Pace tank today. I don't think it was overly short but I am only 5'5" tall. I could live with the length. I'd put the support at the low end of moderate if you are busty. I don't think I could wear it for the elliptical but could get away with it for spin. I really liked the open back. I think it fits a figure-hugging true to size.

Anonymous said...

I just don't care about what I look like in the colored tights. I'm 33 and have a husband and a kid- the husband like them ;) and I wear longer tanks when I run/do yoga. I'm a 12 and I wear the hot pink/black swan reversible WUC on the hot pink side! Who cares what people think? If I were you I'd be so happy to be a size 4- cellulite is OKAY!

Anonymous said...

The black Warm Up Crew has what looks to be a Faded Zap CRB underneath it on the product page. Also the color is definitely Faded Zap on some of the products because that is the color name listed for the square/cooler looking backpack.

Anonymous said...

6:03 AM, fully agree that Clarity Yellow is nothing like Mellow Lemon/Yellow. I personally was not drawn to Clarity at all due to the fluorescent quality, whereas Mellow Lemon is a really nice, true yellow.

Also on Burning Yellow, was all set to purchase until I saw it irl. Big pass. Glass I waited for Mellow lemon, plus it's so soft.

I'm not overly in love with the First Base Tank. I love rulu and just got the black swan/rasp/grey one in the mail. I'm probably going to take it back. They didn't have it in any of the local stores so I decided to order it. But I'm basically 'meh'.

Anonymous said...

@6:59 & 1:46--I'm with you. I have cellulite, too, and I'm a lean size 4. It's just genetics. No matter how well I eat, do cardio, lift weights, etc. I still have it. I have incorporated barre-type classes, and though my hips & thighs have narrowed a little, the cellulite is still there!

@anon 1:16. I live in San Francisco, too, and I rarely see the new neon colors. I usually see older pieces, but I do see newer swiftlys, and scubas.

Anonymous said...

I hate all the bleached coral tights. They look silly. And I refuse to buy sheer or "possibly sheer" crops and pants especially for the lulu price. It makes me mad people are accepting this and still buying.

Anonymous said...

That is Faded Zap on the SE CRB. I'm not interested in the SE CRB but would be interested in a solid regular CRB in FZ.

MafiaPrincess said...

I like the look of the pace crops. Are they not in Canada yet, or did I miss them?

Anonymous said...

I bought the frond energy bra and the mellow lemon crb. I am hoping for the frond swiftly SS soon. I'm on the fence about the frond energy bra- it's definitely more saturated than I was expecting- kinda like the first time I saw flash. I think I may return the bra.

Anonymous said...

Yikes. Most of the women wearing those green tanks need to come to grips with the fact that they should size up.

Thank you!!! It sucks to miss out on the fun pants, but I guess if that's the worst thing I'm pretty lucky. I appreciate the response. :)

Anonymous said...

Just wondering if you tried the pace bra as well. I am 32dd and hoping it might work... I ordered it but it has not arrived yet. THX:)

Anonymous said...

Amen, those are here today gone tomorrow. I stick to classic bottoms, they are the most flattering. I will do texture or neutral space dye but not pink or green.... Too much IMO

Anonymous said...

Has anybody tried the pace bra with a crb? I feel like it may look kinda strange.... Any thoughts? I have not seen it shown with a tank yet, only on its own.

Anonymous said...

I'm an 8 and I know I have some cellulite ripples on the back of my thighs. I figure I'm never turned around looking directly at my rear and Flash was one of my favorite lulu colors so why shouldn't I wear it? I also have the dillysiobal idea that when I run past people I go by in a swoosh of color like a comic book character. It may not be true but the thought makes me smile and run faster.

Anonymous said...

I found they stayed the same - no major stretching. I sized down one from my winder under size. Have to say I love them!!!

Anonymous said...

I tried it on.
I quite like the look ! Side straps stick out so it's great for an accent color

Anonymous said...

@ anon 8:28 pm - My local store had a mannequin wearing the CRB *Surf Bonded with the Pace Bra underneath. I was going to buy it because I couldn't really see how the straps looked in the back in the changing room but the mannequin changed my mind and I brought the Energy Bra instead. I liked the Pace Bra better from the front though. The Energy Bra is long on me.

Anonymous said...

I agree 6:26 pm!!! The woman are more concerned about what the number says on the tag, then ordering the correct size....flattering for their body type! One gal looks like she is "busting out" of her orange coloured tights! If its too tight, even if you are slender, it can make you "look like" skin is spilling out in certain places. In my opinion, it's not very flattering, if you are very busty and say you are normally a size 6 or 8 in tops and you are "trying" to squeeze it all into a size 4! There is nothing wrong with going up a size or two...remember, it's just a number on the tag! LOL It's too bad, so many women are concerned about what that tag says!
OT sort of: I have a young friend, who works at a teenager type clothing store and she says, she sees heavier girls come in all the time, to try on clothes and they have in their hand, XS and S. They are clearly NOT a size small, but that's what they bring into the changing room. She said, 9 times out of 10, if they can't squeeze into a size small, they walk out. She offers to bring them a med or L and they refuse! I guess we sometimes have a warped sense of what body image should be like! Our kids...are thinking, there's something wrong with buying a med. or L, when in fact, you should buy the size that fits you. I feel bad for teenage girls, who refuse to try the next size up.

Love this response...wear what appeals to you and don't worry about anything else! I'm not there yet but at 30 years old finally getting there. I mean if u are dressing for anyone but you, you should ask yourself why!

A few new items on WMTM including all the Root Chakra Pants.

Anonymous said...

Are Studio Crops a size down item? Thanks

Anonymous said...

I tried in the orange pace rights yesterday. I was of course wearing underwear (which I don't in my own running tights) and you could definitely see them. They looked like Muppet flesh colored legs. Yuck. You could also see dimples, although they weren't too thin like some WUs have been. Just got the Frond WUs in the mail and will try them on today.

Anonymous said...

Some new items on WMTM in the US:
Right Round Pant: $79-89
Root Chakra Pant: $69
Brisk Run Headband: $19
Brisk Run Neck Warmer: $19

Does anyone have the Root Chakra Pant? How have they held up? I tried them on in store and really liked them, but not enough for $92.

Anonymous said...

I saw the tights and the tank in person last night at my local LLL. I really would agree with some of the comments here that the tank is for petite women who are no larger than a C cup. The pink tights are a bit obscene for a gym, but that is my opinion.

LLA - i was in store today and got the scuba (white/dune) it's gorgeous - someone mentioned it is a bit longer and they are right - it's longer and it's great! so much better than the last round of scuba stretch hoodies.

Lovin4u said...

Root Chakra pants are now on WMTM. Any general impressions of these? I am tempted but afraid of muffin top because of the low rise. I typically wear a 4 in pants but have a stomach pooch from 2 kids so I was thinking of sizing up to a 6. Also, the back looks like slub denim, which is usually a little tighter? Did anyone get these?

LuluAddict said...

@lovin4u- I just bough the Root Chakra's yesterday from my store markdown rack. I didn't think the rise is that low. I think they are nice for people with more "muscular" legs.

Has anyone had to size up in the energy bra? I sized up in angel blue, and I'm unsure what to order. Thanks in advance.

Anonymous said...

Exactly! It makes me sad to read these women say "I love them but I have too much cellulite" judging themselves so harshly :( or just as sad "I stick to the classics because I only wear what looks good" judging others so harshly! If magazines didn't tell us what looked good all the time I think we'd all be a lot happier. I'm not talking fat- but healthy. Healthy, fit people aren't perfect. So don't spend your life hiding from what makes you happy because of what other people think. I bet this woman in the pink size 12s is more attractive because of her confidence and attitude than any size 4 who is unhappy hiding her "faults" in bllack. Just saying.

Anonymous said...

Anon @ 3:37pm. Well said! I judge myself way too harshly. I am working on not doing so, but it's hard!

Ching-a-ling said...

Tried on the pace tights again and sized down this time. Better fit but still fabric-y in the calves area and below the knee because I'm only 5'4. Comparing this to the Reflect Crops I just got, I prefer the Reflect Crops more b/c I get more compression and warmth form the Reflects. The pace tights felt comfy loose compared to the Reflects. Also the BC color does nothing to slenderize me.

Tried on both the Frond Pace Tank and the Frond Pace Bra. I currently wear an 8 or 10 in the Power Y. In the Pace Tank, there is no compression at all in the torso area so I had to go up a size to 12 so that all my rolls in midsection would not be AS accentuated but they're clearly visible. It is for this torso area that I didn't get it. It fits really nice everywhere else, I prob could have used a 10 in the bustline area. What surprised me most were 1) the hem line wasn't as short as I had expected, definitely past the top hemline of my wuc's I was wearing but certainly not crb long. 2) the opening in the back wasn't a back fat magnet. I was afraid the back opening design with gather/bunch up my back fat and accentuate it. Nothing.

This gave me the confidence to try on the Frond Pace Bra. It's definitely medium support with All Around, Energy and TTT beating it out. I'm a 38C and the 10 fit fine, 12 was nice and loose comfy. Again, no accentuated back fat. I didn't try it on with a crb but I did with the burning yellow coal 105 F tank that I found on md. I looove the way the back bra panels of the Pace Bra play with the back of the 105F tank. It's a great way to display fun color combos while out on a run. Green isn't my color, so I'm hoping they'll make the pace tank / bras in additional new colors.

LOL, I'm one of the 4s with cellulite...I can't really say I'm unhappy with myself at all, I just choose to wear what I feel good in and pants where cellulite shows through is just something I refuse to wear! I'm just surprised that so many women out there are able to wear them and have no lumps and bumps....good for you ladies!!! Honestly, why would I spend $100 on a pair of yoga or running pants that I don't feel fabulous in? :)

Anonymous said...

man, i got a brisk runner headband for four bucks at the warehouse sale......wish everything could be as cheap year round on the WMTM site.

Anon 3:37PM- Very well put! I have to agree. I used to have sooo many issues with my body. Years later I still have a couple but I am constantly working through it and it feels so much better just to live life and have fun!

Received my frond WUC today. VERY sheer. The pattern you see in the pictures is actually multiple perforations in the crops themselves, so clearly those areas show skin because there is no fabric there. The fabric is also very sheer-I could see not only the tear tag, but the writing on it and I was only bent forward slightly at the waist.
I'm not one that has experienced any sheerness before in WUC or even the Ebb and Flows, so I'm pretty sure the issue is not mine, but the crops themselves.
Boo, the colour is so pretty and I'd love to be able to keep them.

My dune still pants came today! One word: LOVE!!! Also if you have a yellow lab or another dog with light colored hair then these are perfect! I always have to spend 5+ minutes with the lint roller every time I go anywhere in my many black lulu bottoms. Its great to run out the door and look presentable in these! :)

Anonymous said...

The orange pace rights are awesome! Like the previous poster said, size up! I did, I have some cellulite, etc. but I don't care because I'm RUNNING in them. I'm not shopping at Whole Foods and meeting girlfriends for coffee in them! Plus I do a lot of road running and find it helpful to have at least one of my items be bright for visibility.

Anonymous said...

got the right round pants on markdown in my store the other day in silver slate for $89, and today they are on WMTM for only $79! got in touch with LLL on live chat to see if they would give me at least a gift card, and they wouldn't do anything. BAH! :-(

Got my bleached coral energy bra today- was wondering though, it says on the tag it's low support- thought it was at least medium? Is this a typo? I have the angel blue one too and thought that's what it said.

Anonymous said...

I found the pace tank to run a bit small....disappointing. It's already short, but tight too? I'm between sizes 6 - 8, 136lbs, 34DD. I grabbed the 8 in Frond and tried it on at home...not sure. So I'm guessing that the lovely ladies that posed for the photos simply grabbed their regular sizes.

I was hoping the pace bra might be a higher neckline cut (to cover up the 34DD), but if the tank is any indication then the bra will not be of value to me.

Received my frond WUC today. Completely see through. They are going back.

MafiaPrincess said...

I managed to convince my local Lulu to open up their shipment early today. I'd never tried on an energy bra.. I wanted to see the fit, and what pop orange/ bleached coral looked like together, and heck I just got the r&d discount..

I have like no boobs. It's more bra than I need. I wear an 8 in most Lulu tanks and swiftlys, but an 8 gave me underarm boob. Makes me a little sad as I've dropped 34 pounds..

I went home with a size 10 energy bra, and a 10 flip your dog bra in the end, and the want for bigger boobs, lol.

I want to try the pace crop.. but they still didn't have them yet.

Michelle said...

I received my still pants and frond energy bra today... What a let down both are going back, I sized down for the stills based on reviews and they are "still" (haha) too big and I think the luon is kinda scratchy IMO and my energy bra arrived with a defective seam...sigh they are sold out online, I live nowhere near a store and all GEC could do was send me a prepaid label to send them back... They were super nice though, I'm just disappointed that I can't rely on sizing info and this is not the first defective product I have received (bruised berry polocrosse crops) only to have them sold out online

Michelle said...

Oh!! One more thing frond is a brighter lighter green than portapottie but its hard to compare because the fabrics are so different luxtreme vs scuba hoodie terry material... But I would say frond is brighter, not neon but pretty true to pics online hope that helps

Question: does anyone have the Right Round Pant? What's your experience with them? Are they too long? I'm 5'5" and understand you can't get them hemmed by LL. Does the cinching work OK or does it look lame? Is sizing down recommended? I read the reviews, some people recommend a size down. They're still expensive for wmtm but I like the black ones. Thanks!

@February 7, 2013 at 7:20 PM:

HAHA I laughed out loud at your Whole Foods comment because that I exactly what I visualize when I think of Lulu's latest creations. Moms on their WH dates.

I am the opposite - I can tolerate see through and shoddy construction if I am wearing them to lounge and get coffee in, but no-no for athletic use. After I witnessed how sheer the new E&Fs are, I am taking a break from bottoms from Lulu for awhile.

Anonymous said...

You are so right! As someone else mentioned, pay attention to fit, not the number on the tag! I wear a full size larger in lululemon than I do in work clothes by banana republic, Ann Taylor, etc. that's ok because if I were to buy my "regular" size in lulu, I'd be bursting out of the seams.

Anonymous said...

the run inspire crop with the frond green accents is at the union square NYC LLL they are using a different material instead of the circle mesh in the back of the calf. they look really nice. I am really loving the green color.
I got the energy frond green bra washed it and it does not bleed. My paris pink one still bleeds after all this time.

@7:06 AM
I love my right round pants! I did not size down as the waist is not at all stretchy like studio pants are; it was pretty tight when I tried to size down, so I purchased my usual size.
I'm short so I had them hemmed without the cheap ankle strings and I love them even more. Easy to throw on over leggings or shorts. Have them in black and am considering getting the grey now.

Anonymous said...

Could care less for the bright colored LL bottoms (speed shorts sometimes excepted). Have never bought a single one. I stick to the darks. I like classic. Colors date themselves and are disposable, imo.

I wear my LL gear for run and yoga, I do not otherwise wear crops, pants or WU leggings to lounge around in or wear casually. Only "to-and-from" pants (e.g. Still, Relaxed Fit, Quick Step, Studio) get worn casually. People that wear LL and come off as (or are) just pretentious...I don't associate with people like that and yes my usual reaction is "ugh".

As for fit and sizing, it's not uncommon for people to have an incorrect self perception of what size they "should" be in. It is true that the number on the tag matters far less than the actual fit. Some people also buy the wrong type of length, cut etc. that is not flattering to their bodies. They have no sensibility about their shape or proportions. (And sometimes no shame…as in: yikes, those are totally see through and you have no underwear on or your thong is totally visible, ICK! Or, quite the ample chest, wear a BRA! with that maxi dress, tank etc.) I'm not looking to judge people but sometimes you have those instances where it's just right there! Would LOVE to be spared it and not see! People just want what they want, i.e., a tank or crop that is actually not flattering on them. Most things (in LL and normal retail) work for me. But when it doesn't, I have no problem calling it and there are also just certain things I stay away from - live and learn. I actually sometimes like it when I'm stuck on having something, try it on, and go "no way!", then I'm not stuck on it anymore - I'm over it.

Anonymous said...

Yes. Studio pants/crops are definitely a size down pant. I actually had to go down 2 sizes in the studios. I wear a 6 in wunder unders and the new grooves, but a 2 in studio pants!

Anonymous said...

@anonymous 7:06 AM:

I have the Right Round pants. They are probably a little long for someone your height, depending on what size you get and how long you wear your pants. I like them uncinched, and I am thinking I should have sized down after all so I would not have to cinch them. I got my TTS 8 because the waist on the 6 was just a little too tight, but after wearing them, I think 6 would have been fine. Other than that, I LOVE how they feel. Total track pants look. They aren't as warm as Studio pants, but work great over tights or shorts. And are warm enough!

im certain this will not be news to anyone here but i thought a report would be helpful.

i have several pairs of studio's; 8 to be exact. I am not saying that number to be an ass but to point out that each pair has lasted daily wear in the summer, for exercise (zumba/gym, mostly zumba), on sun filled vacations for all around everything, to work (casual environment), and all around stuff - yard work/gardening, walking dogs, going for groceries etc. and also, of course, lounging on the couch. i wear these daily in the spring/summer, and on vacation. i wear these several times a week in the winter for exercise.

anyhow, they are my favourite pants, ever. so they are worn often and NONE of them are worn out yet - not pilled and no problems with stretching out, waistband, seams, etc.

one frustration for previous rounds is that i found different fits at times between colours - which irritated the hell outa me when determining sizes for ordering - despite this, i found them to be comfortable and of good quality. but yes, at times, the fit was different between black and indigo. i have all unlined pairs with exception of one white lined pair. i prefer and reach for the unlined most often.

the price point seemed reasonable given the wear and practicality of these pants for me.

i ordered a black, inkwell, and coral pair for this year last week. they arrived yesterday. i just tried them on. fit is fine, seem larger than last year because of the shitty stretchier new fabric. fabric has no shape to it whatsoever, its droopy, stretchy.

the fabric does not have the same feel and has much more give. its not as soft and it has no shape to it. im not sure how to explain it, old ones are soft and stretchy but have hmmm shape to them?? stiffness that is not stiff or uncomfortable?? sorry, sounds idiotic - i hope someone will get what i mean.

the fabric is completely different than previous runs. it feels and looks cheap. it is obviously thinner, you can see and feel the difference between these and my older ones. stitching where the seams are surged is crappy, you know how it looks when it is uneven and loose - not clean and precise. i can see the flaws clearly.

the coral are completely see through, cheap, and so crappy it should be embarrassing for lulu to even have produced these. literally.

as everyone seems to know, lululemon is officially crap. seriously, i cannot think of one item that has come out that is not about cutting corners; shitty sheer thin fabrics, crappy stitching, shorter hemlines/rises (i assume not for style but to save that inch of material).

i bought studios thinking as my go to pants, i was excited to replace my black ones and purchase a fun new colour.

don't bother. seriously they won't last.

i know everyone is aware, i know i am responsible for purchasing. i just wanted to let everyone know about this round of studio's.

if you are looking for the studio quality of previous years. these do not compare and are NOT worth the price tag. they will not last a season.

in my opinion, the old ones were worth it and i wish i had purchased duplicates. it would have been an investment given their wearability, fit, and quality.

the new ones are crap.

Wow anon 10:39... sounds like you're the pretentious one. I love wearing my grooves and WU's casually and do so often... as do many, many other people. I don't see how wearing lululemon casually is even remotely pretentious. If your reaction to that is "ugh" then I wouldn't want to associate with you either!

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback on the Studios. I was just about to order a backup to my older (3 yr old) black unlined ones but your review changed my mind. I'm gonna hold off until they do something about the quality or knock it down to WMTM. In the meantime, looking at Ellie and Nike, at the least out of principle and not wanting to be an unintelligent consumer. Thanks again.

@12:39 Thanks for sharing your your review. I've always heard such good things about the studios and I was thinking of picking one up finally this season, but your review makes sense and will stop me. Lululemon's quality is on such a decline; it makes me SO sad.

Yes!! I totally agree with you on that one!!! Thank you for your reply-I too love lounging in my ll stuff. I didn't know or even think it could be perceived as pretentious ;)

I am new to LL and have had two pairs of studios (lined version) bomb on me already. Both pairs curled and buckled on the wasteband within a few weeks. I can't believe the price for such terrible quality. I am a size 4 in pants, WU's and most stretchy yoga pants and I ordered a 4. They fit perfect at first then stretched to high hell. Now my alberta lake WMTM purchase has already buckled and I have only had them for maybe a week? SO frustrating!!

I use my LLL clothing for a number of uses. Right now I am wearing my WUC with a skirt on top and boots. It is cold outside and the nylon material keeps me nice and toasty.
I was outside all day yesterday after a snow storm and was wearing my toasty tech top and run bold in the cold pants. they were perfect for the 25F degree weather with wind. I also workout in these clothes but they come in handy in all sorts of conditions.
I wear my FTB tanks with jeans in warm weather as well as my scoop neck tanks. I think they look stunning for working out and casual day wear. It's OK to wear LLL on the street.
