I haven't ordered one of thee swiftly tanks yet. Do they usually run tts? I noticed comments that these may be a size up item. I don't live near a store so nonlinear is only way for me. Thanks for your help.

The Speed Shorts are too tight on the women wearing them with the Frond Swiftly.

G&C quilting on one side only...dumb.

i really have a hate on for that street to studio jacket.

and i love the frond ls swiftly with the frond checked shorts, that outfit is very cute. i was thinking of getting the swiftly tank but i am still po'd and think i will try one from the gap instead:)

im confused...which is why i posted...did you say perforated wunder's? wtf? they have holes in them? lol, i have not been reading reviews and was confused.

Interesting how all this Frond is showing up just in time for the St Pattie's Day runs....hmmmm

I read reviews 8 months ago about swiftly tanks running either TTS or size down. I ordered a reg, size 6 and it was skin tight and very short in the body! I have about a size 4 body in Lulu, so it was shocking that a size 6 top, was skin tight on me. I have DD boobs, but wow was it ever toght on me! now if they are even more shorter, I will probably need a size 10! UGH.....Im getting tired of Lulus BS cutbacks! :(

The swiftlys run tts. The tank is short! I did not get it but did but the ss and Ls..love the color! They are soft too :). The educator told me that lulu purposely made the tank 1.5" shorter so people can see your waistband. I would have bought at the old length.

Regarding whether or not to size up on the swiftly, I would be VERY hesitant. I just bought that top left (the grey) one in a size 6. I'm pretty much a solid 6 in everything, but can often size down to 4. The 6 fit well around the waste, but was VERY loose up top (and I'm in between a 32 C/D cup) which greatly surprised me. I'm not sure sizing up will really add much length :/

i'm hoping the street to studio jacket goes on markdown since it seems nobody likes them!

Be warned, Ebay seller woogieway is listing and selling multiple fake Scuba Hoodies. They have an active listing featuring this counterfeit hoodie: http://luluaddict.blogspot.com/2012/10/fyi-fake-scuba-on-ebay.html

This is the same seller who had the fake laceoflage Scuba Hoodie listed last week.

I'm usually a lover of greens so I was excited that LLL finally put a green into production. But now that I've seen it myself at a store, I don't like the color. It's too primary, like the horrid green on bad software palette. However, my store had minute-sized yellow gingham fabric made into a Power Y bra. THAT I dig. It's refreshingly springlike.

So bummed about the length of the new swifty SL, it's like a belly shirt and I'm only 5'6! :(

Hate it all!

I just bought the frond swiftly tank and I sized up to an 8. Normally I'm a solid 6 in swiftly's. It is sooooo cute on! I also bought the Frond reversible bang buster and energy bra! LOVE

sporting the front gather & crow, eeks bad ct.

I received the Right Round Pant in all black. I do really like them. I read the reviews and sized down from size 4 to 2, which I normally never do unless I've tried on the item on before.

The 2 is perfect on me and I think a 4 would have been too loose. The waistband is tight but ONLY when I'm going past my hips. Otherwise everything is good and they look great and will not need to be hemmed (5'5"). Perfect with a running shoe and they don't drag. Could wear them with a flat shoe too (no dragging) but I doubt I'd wear a flat. Material is great on the outside and soft on the inside. I won't use the drawcords in the bottom.

@anon 9:10 am - which color swiftly ran tight? I usually size down for the tank but take my regular size in the LS and SS.

I tried on the Frond Swiftly tank which I usually get in a size 4. I tried a size 4 and it was way too tight. Not too short for me (5"4) but just too tight where as my pow pink and ray swiftly tanks are loose in a szie 4. Quite weird how Lulu is inconsistant in sizing ! I would be furious if I didn't live near a store and had to buy online ! So, the frond is a size up at least. I didn't try the size 6 or 8...

I sized upf from a 6 to 8 in the frond swiftly SS. The 6 was too tight across the bust (34 c/d). But the 6 tank was fine, just was too short.

Thanks for the warning

LLA...it was a purple one that was out about a year ago and then there were no sizes left online. (Canada) I went online one day, on a weekend and 2 sizes suddenly appeared! I later heard, they were probably returns. :( It was skin tight, not TTS and very short on me. Very disappointing. (Im 5''6, 118 lbs) I can wear size 4, 6 and 8s in Lulu tops. Mostly, I stick with size 6s and that size 6 was fitting like a size 2! It was SKIN TIGHT! I ended up selling it online to someone else and the girl who bought it from me, was about 30 lbs heavier than me, so Im not sure HOW she's going to fit into it! (She bought it and didn't try it on) LOL

I always order up a size on the swiftly. Dunno why people say its a size down....

@12:22
I tried on the Frond Swiftly Tank in store yesterday and it was shorter than my older one. Sad. I'm also 5'6".

I'm not getting the frond phenomenon either - it is just not an appealing color to me and combined with the yellow and coral it's just an icky color palette in general - looks very jc penney/kmart to me. glad though because my wallet really needs a rest!

the swiftly tanks are TTS for me. i'm solid 6, and find the 6 fit perfectly. really digging the new shorter length in the tanks - i do have a shorter torso, though (keep in mind ladies that the length of tanks really has nothing to do with height, but with TORSO length. you could be short with a long torso and find the short tanks too short, or tall with a short torso and find the length just fine. stating your height doesn't really tell anyone much about how things fit.) i have a 16.5" torso - measured from my C7 vertebrae to the top of my illiac crest (this is the standard way to take a torso measurement), which is considered a size "small" in backpacks, so i'm definitely at the smaller end of the spectrum. but if you have a short torso, the new shortened swiftlies are awesome!

I bought the Energy bra in Frond and Mellow Lemon/Burning Yellow and the Pace Bra in Bleached Coral/Pop Orange. I was so excited to try out the Pace Bra on a run today and a couple minutes into the run I realized I had bought it a size too big! So sad and might just have to go out and buy the same color in a size smaller because I love the Bleached Coral/Pop Orange so much. Must learn to try it on at home longer before taking the tags off.

Only the Frond tanks are running a size smaller? Or the SS and LS too? Anyone?

Anonymous said...

no, Im 5"6 with a Looong torso and long legs. Im super skinny, so it probably makes me look a lot taller. I have big boobs tho...34D-DD. I look like a Barbie doll. LOL I hate the new shorter, tighter lengths.

I bought the white swiftly SL in my usual size 4. It was too tight and too short. I had to return it and when I did, there were no size 6 to compare it with. I am 5'7" , 34b with an average torso.

For ss or ls swiftlys I size up to 6 but for SL I always bought a 4. I own 6. So I think LLL is listening to the feedback of people wanting more consistent sizing in the swiftlys. I just wished they would let us know when they significantly change something.

@anon 3:26 - weight is a poor indicator of size. the girl you sold your tank to could very well be 30 pounds heavier than you but have smaller measurements! i'm 5'5" and 140lbs, and wear a solid 6 (and no, i'm not "squeezing" into a 6...8s are actually too big and fall off). i see a lot of women post their height/weight, and many of them wearing a size 6 (unless they're actually lying about their weight) are 115-120 lbs, and around 5'6". i easily have 20-25lbs on a lot of the posters here in the same size as me. but i'm not fat! i'm just "dense"...i have a lot of muscle mass which makes me heavier. when i was a baby, the doctor used to tell my parents i was like a "sack of bricks"...lol...i've just always been a dense kid.

OT but I figured it would be nice to mention... Just finished an online chat session with the GEC. I bought a pair or relaxed fit pants last week, and I put them on the next day, I realized some seams were coming out. They had been hemmed and I don't have the receipt or tags... GEC is issuing a full refund and the whole process was EASY! I know... this is how things SHOULD be... but the GEC is notoriously difficult, so I was happy to have a good experience:)

Any word on what might be uploaded tonight?
I'm so sad I missed out on the WMTM No limits tank :(

The burning yellow swiftly tank that I got a while back in a 4 I'm 5'3 and weigh 120 I am busty as well D.
fits fine on me it is looser than the long sleeved swiftly.
I wear a size 4. it is not tight nor short on me, maybe the new batch is different. They don't have them in my local store so I will have to wait to make a comparison.
I also agree the lady wearing the run speed shorts is wearing them way too tight.

@ anon 10:21 am - I am hoping the frond swiftlys are uploaded. I would also like to see the Surf Studio jacket, too. But, I haven't really heard anything.

Anon 10:09 please do tell who you had on the pohone/chat, because I'll be asking for him/her next time! Lol

I agree! Like two sizes too small. I want these shorts, but these pictures are making me wonder. I bought them in dune and love them. I might have to skip frond speeds and buy the surf studio jacket in dune instead. Loving the sandy color of it in person!

I'm 5'6 125 34B and a 4 in most things lulu. I mainly lift and run outdoors for my cardio. I'm visibly muscular and I am sucker for Swiftly's 1/2, SS, and LS in that order (I once bought a SL in Pink Mist or Pig Pink, not sure which one of the two, in my size 4 and was too big all over. It is sitting in my drawer, for a couple of years now) They are skin tight on my arms and shoulders not so much on my chest and middle. Only my very first SS Swiftly was a 6, and I ran once in it to know it was too loose and rode up non-stop. I still have it but have never worn it again. Tanks in 6 are big all over on me, and running tights in 6 wrinkle around my knees and lower butt. Bad look for any runner, or just have a look at the clothes of Olympic runners: second skin. This morning while I was running I met a guy running in sweatpants and matching baggy pullover. Honestly, he looked like he was dressed to walk his dog around the block before heading for bed. I do find helpful when reviewers state their height and weight, however, I have learnt that what for me is comfortable fitted, other people might judge it as too tight. I frankly do not care if someone else thinks I should size up, they don't pay for my clothes. To me it's not about a number, rather about the fit, and in general lulu 4 is the best performing fit for my tanks, tops and bottoms in the activities I do. Bras, running skirts and shorts are always 6, as well as Defines and most fitted jackets. I believe we women judge other women too harsh. My motto is "wear what works for you and let others wear what works for them, or what they think does. None of my business"
