Wow, wish I could rock a baseball cap like her! Anyway on topic, I purchased the wee stripe Pace Crops in a size 6 ( usually 4 WU and Inspires) 118lbs lean and 5'6. I did this because the "ED" suggested sizing up in Luxtreme for more coverage AKA so they are not see through, in any case the are HUGE in the waist and offer no support:( I am stuck with them now that I have worn them but decided to order the 4 because they are so darn cute! Word to the wise, these are a TTS crop. Gosh I wish Lulu had a more fair return policy like Athlete. I just returned a crop to Athleta after wearing it and not caring for the fit, no hassle, so easy.

Hi, what jacket is she wearing in the cap pics?

Anonymous said...

That girl looks amazing in the classy cap!

Looks like she's wearing the run for it pullover!

Girls always look so cool in a cap!

By the way looking in the bag section, theres a hint for a pop orange pullover warm up crew!

I received my In The Flow corps yesterday (black). They are totally sheer. I was already on the fence re: weird logo placement, so this just seals the deal-back they go.

hemlines still too short grrr- finally not all are super curved (good thing imo)- but still way too short- big pass for me- wow i'm actuallly saving my money now for the past year- very goood thing i think i'm over my lulu obsession- the spell has been broken- most everything looks really cheap to me as others have noticed too!!!! Now we need a new company to become obsessive compulsive with ha ha ha ha ha- any ex lulu designers out there- get together and start a company based on the company's older designs before they started tinkering w/ hemline lengths/ shapes cheap fabrics see thru fabrics etc. and details that set lulu in another stratasphere- that are now gone most of the time- please there is a void that needs filling someone out there- please head the call!!! HA HA HA HA HA christine day takes companys down- that is what she does and does it well IMO

Omg, I have to post this because this is a new low for fakes on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Women-Lululemon-Define-Dance-Studio-Jacket-Stretch-Sweater-Brushed-Rose-/321086961506

Seller is stylist318 from Hong Kong

They took a stock photo from the lulu website and photoshopped it to make it look like this was an actual color combo offered in the Define Jacket. Crazy! We've never seen a define in this color and Brushed Rose is not a lulu color.

Rumor has it they will be coming out with an Energy tank!

I like the moonglow color. The more new colors that come out, though, the more I worry we won't be seeing Surge, after all :(

Anonymous said...

I'm loving faded zap ! Got the energy bra and love it ! Hoping for a nice CRB that's not too thin. Can anybody comment on fit of the flow crop in very green ? Thanks.

I wish the green ebb and flow crops were longer. I only buy wunder unders and inspire crops because most are too short. They look like clam diggers on my long legs!

i do like the colours out right now, not all mixed together for myself, but nonetheless - like.

sadly, as gorgeous as the colours are are the sheerness factor (no longer confined to pants) is cheap and unflattering. all i can see is that vertical boob stripe and the shelf bra's under the tanks. its lumpy/bumpy looking with way too much sheerness going on.

i get that companies want to cut costs but i do not understand how people not buying = profits. if a pair of ebb and flows sells out in a cute colour in a substantial fabric (i.e. not sheer, or wu or power y whatever) - then how does it benefit to have it cheaply made an sitting on the shelf or website???

i remember scuba's selling out in great colours, speeds, wu, etc. i don't see how this is of any benefit.

i know they are just clothes, its just too bad as who doesn't like fun workout items? im just not getting how unwearable = $$ for a clothing company.

Ps I hope we can see wee are from space crbs!

@11:06 ahhh I would love to see a wee are from space crb!

The gorgeous brunette wearing the baseball cap can rock anything - I've seen her modeling Lulu before and everything looks amazing on her. She's def prettier than most of LLL's models! They should hire her and get rid of the new one with bushy eyebrows.

I don't think that's a moonglow scuba...It looks to me like the caspian stretch scuba with unlined hood (you can tell by the darker blue ribbon detailing around the neck/hood area). Lined hoods don't have that.

I agree! my most recent power y tanks (split pea and striped pink shell) are sheer where you can see an outline of the cups and the mesh down the center of the shelf bra.
I guess I wear a flow y bra under, but I'm an A cup,its a littIe much

5:23 AM, I dunno I think you should challenge them on that and at least get a credit. You know your sizing but went with the Ed's rec. I think they should have to take responsibility for that. They could say you didn't have to take the advice, but you did because the Ed is supposed to know better (theoretically).

I wonder if that Scuba is Caspian Blue because it looks the same with the darker blue trim. Also my stores still have the Caspian Scuba in a few sizes. I would love a new blue but it looks very similar to Caspian? What do you think?

The educator/model with the short hair here (we've seen her before) is so beautiful. She has a similar body shape to me, I think, if I lost another 20lbs...

I know... I don't even look at Power Ys anymore. They used to be my favorite. The last one I bought was last year (Menthol). I'm also wondering how Lulu can still make profits if the stuff is just sitting on the stores and warehouse ?? And why mess up the good thing that was gooing for Lulu ? I'm sure they have lost quite a few Lulu fans. I also have not bought as much this past year than the previous years. I love checking this blog... but don't go into a Lulu store as often as I used to.

http://www.theonzie.com/criss-cross-bra-top/

looks like LLL's free to be bra, but better. Below the bust appears to have better support. Back straps also look more solid. I tried on the FTB bra and was not impressed, and I'm small, low support.

I keep periodically popping by to see if anything has gotten better. Everything is still see-through - only now it looks like fruit salad.

Seriously Lulu? When are you finally going to do something to win back the people that used to believe in you?

I went to the vncouver outlet and saw thhe in the flow crops in pop orange and faded zap..sheer city. I tried on a 2 and 4. The legs are not a problem, it's your bum cheeks that show, along with the hang tag in the back. It probably didn't help that I was wearing green panties either..LOL
Anyways, what really got me was the sticker on the tag that read something like this "this product has been made, but with some flaws and imperfections"
Why make the product then if it's less than perfect?
They were MD to $49

Can anyone provide experience with the Groove Pant Tall, that are not *New? Is the luon is thicker than at least the current version? I know Groove quality has changed a couple of times but I have not bought a pair in just over a year. I know from most recent 'old' to new, this go round there's the slimmer leg, wider bell etc. The non-New Tall (all black) are available on the Canadian website in my size. I will have to have them hemmed but that's OK. My main thing is the quality of the luon. Since everything with LLL is cheapening, I will get this pair in order to be set me for a while, because I don't see quality getting any better. Maybe they'll do a 180 but I doubt it. Thanks!

Also, here's a recent interesting article and interview with Day. Yes, she emphasizes that she will do what's "right" for the company right now, and apparently she does listen to customer feedback and complaints. She values it more than any market research. Keep up with the feedback/complaints, ladies! Personally, I don't care if they make some funky stuff for a certain customer, but the deteriorating quality is my big thing, and I want the gear to remain classic and athletically, technically kicka**.

Hey LLA- any chance that they're going to discontinue the NLT? No new colors have come out in quite a while.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 11:09 - I've been reading those colors went straight to the outlet.

Re: discontinue the NLT. I haven't heard anything. It could be taking a break. Some tops come out on a seasonal basis.

@anon 12:56- thanks for sharing that article. Day has always said that she's listening, and yet we keep seeing our favorite fabrics thinning, and the overall quality of the brand cheapening. It's kind of amazing to me how quickly the brand has deteriorated, really. I went in to Lulu last week to buy a new outfit for the crossfit opens workout, and I couldn't find a single pair of tights that passed the bend-over test, including WUC. I never used to have to even test...everything was great. I left empty handed and instead ended up in a splits 59 outfit I picked up at my local running store.
I check this blog to see if the ship has been righted, but I will tell you, based on my recent Lulu experience, it's far from it. Day states that she's glad to hear criticism because it means people are still trying the merchandise, but I tell you what...if things aren't fixed, it's just a matter of time. I think her window is running out.
The Luon has been sheer for some time now. I know it can't be a quick fix, but you'd think they'd have been able to get a handle on it by now. So disappointing.

I tried on the in the flow crops in very green and did the bend over test...I could see the tag but it was fine with my nude undies. Anyone else try these on yet? The logo placement is in a weird spot.

Anonymous said...

Ugh, the new luon light power y's are so thin you can see the cups through the fabric. Even on the darker colors you can see the cup outline. I picked up a gingham crb because the fabric was thicker and didn't show very bump.

Kathleen said...

@anon 12:56 I am not sure about your height/inseam but if you are open to "other" brands I have been cheating on Lulu pants-wise with O'Neill 365. My favorite pants were the recognition pant and tadasanas or just wearing crops since the length was never quite right.

I ended up falling in love with these pants and they might be worth checking out. The good news about Amazon is that they are easily returned if they don't work out: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006GZVGI8

No sheerness issues and they stay secure at my hips plus they have a longer inseam.

I was in the South Coast yesterday and saw the Fresh Teal Petite Power Y. Love the color and patten, walked up to it, and then yuck. It has an odd sheen and feels slick to the touch. Gross. Touched it half a dozen times as I circled the store, but couldn't bring myself to even try it on. So sad :(

Anonymous said...

I also bought a Gingham CRB because it's nice and thick and doesn't show every lump and bump ! I used to buy Power Y's. But I don't even bother looking at them since Lulu has been using the stupid Luon Light ! YUCK ! Who wants to show their cups or even worse their nipples ! No thanks !

Anonymous said...

Also tried on the In the Flow crop. despite nice details and knee length (love), they are not worth the money. They are substandard quality from the feel of the fabric to the sheerness. No where near as good as E&F i. I made the mistake of also buying the ii's, which were so not worth it. Neither are these. Refuse to be suckered. They are very popular however, any store I've gone to nearly sold out esp. in smaller sizes.

Anonymous said...

@ Kathleen, thanks for the info and link on Oneill 365. I did order the Groove Tall, hopefully older luon (even the way the specs are written seem to be for older product. It may mean nothing.) If I don't like them I'll just take them back to a store.

@ 2:58, I agree with you that her window is running out. I'm glad to hear she takes customer feedback seriously, but it's not OK that she wants customers to continue to buy (the expensive products) and also continue to find themselves unhappy. We know the discontentment with the products is now widespread, because deteriorated quality is now the new LLL.

people... i understand everyones plight with the shearness issue, thats completely justified.

BUT COME ON! you are buying these clothes TO SWEAT IN!!! who cares if you see the sweat lines!??! that just doesnt make sense to me.

if you want to not look like youre sweaty- then don't work out hard

i crossfit and its encouraged to be drenched in sweat and wringing out your sports bra post wod.

get over yourselves people!!!! GET SWEATY AND STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT

LuluAddict said...

@anon 5:32 am - I think crotch/butt sweat is what people are concerned about.

Kathleen said...

@Anon 5:32 when there are plenty of brands that do not show sweat marks on clothes that cost less why would we settle for what Lulu is offering? Sorry for being crude, but I would rather not have my butt and hooha emphasized with sweat marks... Especially when it is terrible and keeping things damp down there can actually lead to infections.

Anonymous said...

@ 5:32 as LLA and Kathleen 8:06 have already mentioned, it's the isolated sweat in one's nether regions. I work out hard and get very sweaty. I don't care about my CRB, it'll be drenched. A crop (lets say a coal, heathered, dark grey etc.) will get all sweaty in hot yoga so you then cannot tell. Sometimes though on a run, a crop or certain speed shorts, even though I'm very sweaty, it's isolated sweat. Sorry, not attractive and I don't need people looking there thinking just that about my nether regions. At the end of the day, yes, it's FO to anyone looking and/or leering "deal with it" I'd say, but I would still much prefer NOT being self conscious. This is why I do pretty much stick to black bottoms.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 5:32 100% If you are planning on playing and sweating hard, who cares about sweat marks. light colors in any brand will show sweat if you are working hard.
