LLA, I believe that Bang buster is the "beautiful baroque black" I bought it and it looks exactly the same...

Hi LLA. Maybe I'm wrong but isn't that a Beautiful Baroque Bangbuster? I love Brisk Bloom as much as you do and hope that we will get more items in that print. :)

BEWARE! Just got my new YogaSmoga ballerina leggings. WITH A HOLE IN THEM. I spoke with customer service and emailed a photo and they are awful to work with. Will be getting my refund via my credit card since YS is saying I must have made the hole?!? WTF??!?!

Can anyone comment about the length of the Keep It Up pants, and how well they "bunch" at the ankle? I'm 5'4" with a 30" inseam, and I am worried that these will be awkward if they bunch a lot above my xc-ski boots or running shoes. I don't live anywhere remotely near a store, so I can't get them hemmed. In the bottom picture in this post they look like they bunch reasonably, but that educator is probably a lot taller than me :) TIA! I think they'd be great xc-ski and winter sport pants, so any reviews in sub-30 weather would be appreciated!

I tried on the Keep It Up Pant over the weekend because I'm still kicking myself for passing on the Bold In the Cold pants last year. What an awful substitute! These pants are very unflattering around the hips. And while I grabbed my usual size (4), I could hear threads ripping as I put them on...and then they were baggy enough once on that an ed commented I needed to size down.

Son of a gun, you guys are right, it's the beautiful baroque bangbuster. I will fix it.

I like how the Keep it Up pants look here, but they are not getting good reviews online. Should have got the ones from last year instead. Boo!

I also have a complaint about Yogasmoga. I got my package bought as part of thanksgiving special.

The crops I got were crimson rose and they are see through. I contacted them and they told me that the sale is final and I can get a replacement if I pay shipping both ways.

I don't think so. I will be contacting my cc company and disputing a charge.

And I will never buy from Yogasmoga again.

I ran in my BITC pants from last year this morning and was really wishing I had a few more. Love them more than my toasty tech tights and dog runners. It doesn't sound like the keep it up I pants are equivalent...bummer!

I just bought the Keep It Up pants and I also own last year's Bold In the Cold. While last year's are cuter, this year's version will transition to casual wear better imho. I bought the soot colour KIU pants and the reflective details really don't show in regular lighting. I'm a true lulu size 4 but sized down last year and this year - otherwise the waist was too big and I had extra fabric sagging around my bottom (not in a 'looser pant' way but in a 'your pants don't fit' baggy spandex way - not attractive).

The ankle fabric bunches up just fine on me and I'm 5'3" - it also folds under quite easily and neatly without being irritating since the ankles aren't tight, so that's an option too. Last year's had a drawstring at the bottom so lulu wouldn't hem them but this year's don't have a drawstring (in case you were curious).

@ anon 6:38 pm - That is a bummer. They sent me crimson rose bottoms after Cyber Monday so I wasn't able to comment on the opacity of them. I know they ship USPS so shipping should not be too expensive.

Yep - I totally agree. I got the lilac? (mist?) YS crops and they are TOTALLY SHEER. AS IN X RAY SHEER. Might as well be naked.

Finally! I posted here a few months ago about YS and I thought the quality was poor and everyone jumped on me about working for Lululemon, etc. Now everyone is seeing what I saw :)

The Canadian site has the brisk blossom black/white reversible to black bang buster headband.

@ anon 7:34 pm - I didn't get the lighter colored bottoms until after the Cyber Monday deal expired. The only safe colors are the black, the two dark blues, and maybe the violet. The rest are iffy and the light gray and lilac are only if you have world class musculature and aren't shy about people knowing it.

Did I miss the Reflective Jacket or is it new? Sooo cute in white and not sure how I missed it...

I purchased the grey cavier crops from YS and they are pretty sheer and thin. I emailed and Rose emailed me back and said the black and the grey are cut from the same fabric and then dyed but that can't be cause the black crops I just got from the gilt sale are much thicker and I really like them. I will probably bite the bullet and pay the shipping so that I can have a pair of wearable crops. I will probably get another black pair or midnight blue.

I just got the black with blue top run play crop from yogasmoga and they are shear. I have the india blue from the previous deal via lla and they are not shear at all but like lla said they are only good for working out, which I am fine with. i much rather only be able to work out in crop but know they are not see through. i got the yantra tank in grey and I like it. i would not order it again at full price but maybe at 50% off. super bummer. i was excited about a company that manufacturers in the usa. hopefully we will see some positive changes now that the witch of a ceo, chip wilson is gone.

I agree. I think YogaSmoga is fine for a cheap brand, but the clothing doesn't command the high price tag (maybe why they are offering such unbelievable deals?)

for all of those asking about the keep it up pants. I have a pair in the black which I love. the bunching up at the bottom is minimal. they look great and function well and are also super warm. I agree with 7:03 that they double as casual work wear. I am also 5'-3" and have narrow (boy) hips. they look great and I love that they can be used for biking, hiking, shopping etc.

I am so confused with all these comments about yogasmoga. How can it be that I have the Caviar Grey and Crimson combo and they are not sheer as a matter of fact the color combo is so hot. Yet others are saying that it is sheer. Can someone please put up a pic of the sheer ones for posterity sake. Otherwise I for one am not believing this rubbish.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 12:14 pm- Yes, I am making up stories that my pants are sheer. Because I am pyscho like that. Look, I took all my new YS bottoms with me to a lulu change room and got a good look at my rear end in the mirror. No one would love some light colored crops that were opaque with good coverage more than me. I am just telling you what worked on me, your mileage may vary. If you have great legs, buy any one you like but if you have some cellulite that needs smoothing you need to stay away from the lighter colors.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 12:14 pm - Cavier Gray and Crimson were ok in terms of sheerness but you'll need to wear nude undies with them.

anon at 12:14pm - do you work for YogaSmoga? You seem pretty defensive.

anon at 3:23 PM I am a stay at home mom and about to become a grandmother. I am not defending promoting or anything other than trying to clarify what was confusing me. I did not say if yogasmoga was good or if lulu was bad. I am just confused why people are saying this when it is not happening to me. I have already apologized to LLA for offending her and now apologize to offending you for asking a simple question. Please do not drag me into this whole mess of yogasmoga moles or the lulu CS moles. I am not interested. I just asked a genuine question that is all.
